MagellanTV has been a good service. They have interesting documentaries on a variety of different topics and the discount was great. The service works on a wide variety of platforms. I'd love to see the ability to download a copy of a show for offline playback in all supported apps, but it's not a deal breaker. If you like documentaries, its worth giving this service a try. VPN Unlimited is a good VPN. I've used it at airports and on the plane to protect my private info. Speeds have been good.

MagellanTV is absolutely amazing, if you're interested in high quality documentaries and is absolutely worth it. However, it may not necessarily satisfy everyone, particularly those into scripted dramas.

The apps don't seem as polished as CuriosityStream but I already have a lifetime subscription to CuriosityStream so this gives me additional content.
